    How to Change Symbology For Structural Element in OpenPlant Modeler

    In OpenPlant Modeler, requirement is to change or define desired color for structural elements.

    Background

    In OpenPlant Modeler, by default defined symbology or color for structural element like beam is blue. This wiki article explains how to define desired symbology or color for structural elements like beam & plates.

    Steps to Accomplish

    1. Launch OpenPlant Modeler in your desired project unit.
    2. From File select Open.



    3. Navigate to mentioned folder location, select SmcMetric.dgnlib file & open.



      Note: Ensure that Files of type is set to All Files as shown below



    4. From OpenPlant Modeler, select Element > Element Templates as shown below.


    5. Expand dgnlib node, navigate to Member & change/define symbology as shown below.


    6. From File menu, select Save Settings & verify result as shown below.
