In OpenPlant Modeler, requirement is to show support level name as that of pipeline on which support component is placed.

Background

In OpenPlant Modeler, by default level for support is Support as shown below. Here requirement is to show support level name as that of pipeline level name on which support is placed. To achieve this customization, user need to cascade line number property from pipeline to support class. Once customization is done, using cascade property named expression for support will be modified. Below wiki article explains how to achieve such requirement in OpenPlant Modeler.

2. Open OPModeler.dgnlib from desired project unit folder location as shown below.
   
   
   
   
3. Go to Utilities > Named Expressions. Refer image below.
   
   
   
   
4. Navigate to OP_SYMBOLOGY_SUPPORT expression & update expression as shown below.
   
   Expression: "BY_LEVEL_AND_TEMPLATE:" & OPITEM.LINENUMBER & ":OpenPlant\Support\" & ":Model"
   
   
   
   
5. Save the settings. Place support in OpenPlant Modeler & verify level name as shown below.
