    Background

If user want to create .stl file from AutoPLANT 3D to take .stl file as a input for Physical 3D Printing.

    1. Open AutoPLANT 3D Model.
    2. Once AP file is opened type in command line OPTION for opening Options drop down window.
    3. In options drop down windows in AutoPLANT Modeler tab and check on the mesh as shown in below screenshot.

    4. Check for 0 layer to be set as default, as shown below.

    5. Once the above step is carried successfully then need to run the command COPYASACIS and type ALL for all components selection or we can do a manual selection for specific components.

    6. Once the components copied as ACIS need to export the file.
    7. Type Export and below drop down window opened at you end and file type to be selected as Lithograpy (.Stl) format and save the .stl file at some location of your choice.

    8. After saving .stl file open the same newly created .stl file with SolidView Lite and check for the newly generated .Stl file.

After following the above steps you are able to generate the .stl file of AutoPLANT 3D Model.
