How to create a 3D PDF using OpenPlant Modeler

Background

The user might want to review the model in a PDF mode. OpenPlant Modeler does allow us to create a 3D PDF model. Below mentioned steps give us the procedure to create a 3D PDF.

Steps to Accomplish

  1. Launch OpenPlant Modeler.




  2. Open the model which is to be published to a 3D PDF.



  3. From the File menu, select Print.



  4. From the Printer Driver option select Bentley Driver.



  5. Select the plotting configuration file as pdf.



  6. Enable the option to print to 3D.



  7. Click on Print to File.



  8. Select the directory where the file is saved.

  9. OpenPlant the file in PDF Viewer. You can review the model in 3D.



  10. Verify results.
