The steps mentioned in the wiki help us resolve the issue.

Steps to Resolve

  1. Open PID Project pcf file.

  2. Confirm the AP_PROJECT_ROOT directory and close.

  3. Launch Bentley Project Administrator, confirm if the Project Root is present.

  4. It can be confirmed that the Project Root is absent.

  5. From File menu select Add Root.

  6. Browse to the Project Root in the dialog and click on OK.

  7. Confirm if the Project Root is added to the Project Administrator.

  8. Reboot the machine once and open the model.

  9. PID will start without any issues and model will launch without error message.
