    How to Package and Unpackage AutoPLANT Project

    Background


    In  AutoPLANT Modeler the user might want to migrate there project to another location. This wiki article gives step by step procedure to accomplish this requirement.

    Step to Accomplish 

    This is done by following steps:

    A. Package the Project from existing location.

    B. Unpackage the Project Database in a New Location.

    A. Package the Project  from an existing location.

    1. Launch Bentley Project Administrator.



    2. Locate the project in the list and confirm the root in which the project is located.



    3. From Tools launch Bentley Project Packager.



    4. Click on Select Project.



    5. From Root select the Project.



    6. Click on OK and Next.



    7. Browse to directory where the package will be saved.



    8. Give a sensible name to the Project Package to be created and click on Open.



    9. Click on Next and the Project will begin packaging.



    10. Click on Finish, once done.

    B. Unpackage the Project Database to a new location

          11. Select Project Packager from Tools in Bentley Project Administrator.

               

          12. Select Unpackage Project and click on Next.

              

          13. Select the packaged Project Database and click on Open.

                      

           14. Select the location where the Project Database is to be unpackaged.

             

          15. Click on Next and select the Database Type (in this case Access).

            

         16. This will Unpackage the Project Database to the given location.
