Overview

This Technical Bulletin describes a solution for converting the P&ID Menu files to AutoCAD's new CUI Interface Menu System.

 

The Steps

1. Open P&ID in native AutoCAD.
2. Select from the menu Tools > Customize > Interface.
3. From the "Customize User Interface" dialog, select the "Transfer" tab
4. Select the open button image or select the pulldown list and select Open.
5. Browse to the location of the PID.MNU file. 
6. Change the Files of type to "Menu files"
7. Select PID.MNU and click Open, then Ok.
8. The new PID.CUI will be created in the same location as the PID.MNU file.
