    What is AutoPLANT Isometrics?

    AutoPLANT Isometrics is an intelligent isometric drawing application allowing either direct specification-driven isometric drawing creation or automatic extraction from a 3D model.

    What are the requirements to run AutoPLANT Isometrics XM?

    AutoPLANT Isometrics requires Autodesk AutoCAD 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, or 2008 running on Microsoft Windows 2000 SP4 or later, Microsoft Windows XP Professional SP1A or later. The hardware requirements for AutoPLANT Isometrics is equivalent to the version of Autodesk AutoCAD that will be used and 1.5 gigs of hard drive space for the AutoPLANT install.

    Do I need to create an AutoPLANT Piping drawing to use AutoPLANT Isometrics?

    No, Isometrics allows direct isometric drawing creation as well as extraction from a 3D model.

    Can I create isometric drawings from an AutoPLANT Piping model?

    Yes, the Auto-Iso feature automatically produces isometric drawings from an AutoPLANT Piping module..

    Are the components in AutoPLANT Isometrics intelligent?

    Yes, individual components in the drawing contain data pertaining to the spec used to insert the component. Also included are line, service, area, and unit data.

    Does AutoPLANT Isometrics use the same specs as AutoPLANT Piping?

    Yes, the same specs are used for both programs.

    No, there is no conversion from AutoPLANT Isometrics to AutoPLANT Piping.
