How to enable the specific Component Tags to be shown in Isometrics Using User Label

Overview 

How to enable the specific Component Tags to be shown in Isometrics Using User Label.

Background

User is not getting the Tags for some specific Components in the Generated Isometrics. Below given steps for how to set the User Label for any specific component and how to call different drawing attributes in generated Isometrics.

 

Steps to Accomplish

  1. Generate Isometrics of the component in .Dgn output that you want to show tag on generated Isometrics.
  2. After generating Isometrics check Component Tag as per below given steps.


  3. After ‘Show Component Tag’ dropdown window opens check for the attribute you want to use for enabling user Labels from Isometrics Customization window.



    EC_CLASS can be used as well to put in User Label, We will use IE_TYPE and associated value in user label.
  4. Open Project Administrator.
  5. Open Isometrics Configurations dropdown window as per below steps.






    Note:
    NAME: Orifice Tag
    b. INCLUDE: IE_TYPE=CT.
    c. TEXT: $(IE_TAG), As we need to populate the Tag of given component

    Put other values and save and close Isometrics Configuration Dialog Box.
  6. Generate Isometrics and verify that Now we are able to show Tag Data on generated Isometrics.

Similarly we can add Tag for different components as well.

Now Tag are populating in Isometrics Drawing.
