Bentley Datasheets is a Microsoft Excel (.xls) based instrumentation, mechanical and process datasheet creation and management module. Datasheets created as .xls files allow viewing and editing by users with only native Microsoft Excel installed.
Automated synchronization between the datasheets and the project database provides change control throughout the development process and reduces the time-intensive task of datasheet production.
The Bentley bulk datasheet builder utility assists P&IW users in quickly creating datasheets for multiple tags. Users are able to select tags by tag code or from the tag register and assign templates to multiple tags. Once templates are assigned, users will be able to name and create the datasheets for all selected tags.
