    How to Import a Drawing File from one Project to another Project using Relationship Manager

    Background

    The relationship Manager is an AutoPLANT Modeler application. The Relationship Manager provides a central location for an administrator to manage Bentley AutoPLANT Modeler relationship values (e.g., LineNumber, Unit, Area, Service, Spool, and Document).

    In Project sometimes there are certain requirements to import drawing files from one Project to another Project of the same Unit.

    This Wiki article describes the steps on how to Import the Drawing Files from one Project to another Project using Relationship Manager.

    Steps to Accomplish

    1. Click on Bentley Plant CONNECT icon available on desktop.

    2.To launch Relationship Manager, go to Project Tools and select Relationship Manager.

    3.Select desired project as per requirement.

    4.Go to Tools > Document Tools > Import > From Project

    5.Select the Project that contains the Drawing Files to Import.

    6.Use the arrow buttons between the Project, select Drawing File to import into the Project and Click OK.

    7.The following dialog display

    8.Select the target location and click OK. For e.g. for Piping Drawing file PIPE_DWG selected.

    9.Click on Import button to Import the Drawing File from one Project to Another Project.
