How to Associate an OpenPlant PID Drawing with Another Project

Background

Sometimes user want to copy drawing from one project to another project. Once the drawing is copied to another project it still tries to connect to the old project database. In order to connect the drawing to correct database following steps should be followed.

Steps to Accomplish

  1. Open the affected DGN in OpenPlant PID.

  2. From the menu select Utilities > Key In.

  3. In the Key-In dialog, type pid plantproject disassociate.

  4. Disassociate dialog pops up, click Yes and then OK

  5. Go to File > Work offline

  6. Open Project dialog opens, select the project of your choice and OK.
