Overview

User may face problem while generating isometric, generated isometric will not read the override.txt file changes.

Background

In older version of AutoPLANT Modeler,  path for Override, hook up files was not included in IsoProj.cfg. Those paths are required to read the Override.txt and Hook.ini file in AutoPLANT Modeler CONNECT Edition version

This Wiki article explains the steps  to modify Older version V8i IsoProj.cfg file to work with  AutoPLANT Modeler CONNECT Edition.

Steps to Accomplish

1. Navigate to the Project location

For ex: C:\ProgramData\Bentley\Plant V8i\Bentley Plant V8i Projects\SAMPLE_METRIC\Config\OpenPlant\Isometrics

2. The older Overrides.txt not working because the following variable is missing in older IsoProj.cfg file.

# Overrides file

IE_OVERRIDES = $(IE_CONF)overrides.txt

# Iosmetric pre/post processing configuration

IE_HOOK = $(IE_CONF)hook.ini

# Configuration file for ProjectWise title block integration

IE_CFG_PROJECTWISE = $(IE_CONF)projectwisemap.txt

3.Save the file and review the results.

4.After doing above changes overrides.txt functionality works fine
