Background

In OpenPlant Modeler CONNECT Edition depending upon language setting as per user convenience in windows, The issue is generated while placing mainly any Curve Member i.e Beams, Channels etc from Structure as not able to place it. Hence this wiki would help to rectify the issue.

Steps to Accomplish

1. To resolve the issue being generated while placing any curve member, Initially close OpenPlant Modeler CONNECT Edition.
    
   
    
2. Open Region settings from Start Tab
    
   
   
   
3. Click on Additional date ,time & regional settings in Related Settings. As highlighted below.
   
   
   

   Also make sure Current Format : English United States.

4. Click on Change date, time or number formats.
   
   
    
5. In Region Dialog box, Move to Administrative tab.
   
   
   
   Change from existing local language to English(United States) through Change System Locale. Hit ok and then Apply as highlighted in above image.
    
6. Changing above setting would definitely help in resolving the issue in Placing any curve member but even if the issue is generated then change the Decimal Symbol from Dot (.) to Comma (,) in Customize Setting when clicked on Additional Setting in Region Dialog Box.
    
   
   
   
7. Thus able to place any curve member from Structure as shown in image below.
