For the PlantSight/Imodelhub to be able to read the OpenPlant data it is necessary that they contain the metadata which is the foundation for reading the instances of model.
So when we perform the provisioning operation, the schemas get embedded into the portal which allows it to read, transform and store data with granularity, so that the synchronized model can have intelligence along with the graphical geometry.
The operation must be also be performed when a change has been made in the schemas so that it can be propagated in the CONNECT Project.
This wiki article provides the procedure to provision schemas to CONNECTED Projects using OpenPlant Project Administrator. It is assumed that the user has already created a CONNECT Project and has associated it with an OpenPlant WorkSet. Then comes the procedure of provisioning schemas.
