In AutoPLANT Modeler the Advanced Routing functionalities enables you to route pipe and it automatically placing fittings such as Elbows and Tees as needed.
The Advanced Routing is the default method of placing Piping components. It is Automatically enabled when you select the place pipe command, or use one of the options from the Advanced Routing menu.
While working on project with AutoPLANT Modeler, sometimes user wants to turn on and off the Advanced routing functionality as per their working style.
This wiki articles explains the several different ways on how to turn on & off the Advanced Routing in AutoPLANT Modeler
1.Advanced Routing can be Enabled or disabled by toggling the Advanced Routing option in the Main Piping Menu

2.The Advanced Routing can also be turn on & off by Advanced Routing Variable from the at.ini file located in the below directory.
C:\ProgramData\Bentley\Plant V8i\CFG
ADVANCEDROUTING=1
(1=On, 0=Off)
