In AutoPLANT Modeler when you create a new project in distributed mode then the distributed mode stores model data in a separate mdb file and also the model is part of a project database, where all the project specific data (e.g. Relationships. etc ) are stored in that project database is also called as Projdata.mdb
In AutoPLANT Modeler sometimes there is user requirement to add additional relationships like LineNumber into the Piping Table of Project Database.
This wiki article explains the steps on how to add Line Number property in Piping Table of Project database.
1.Close all the AutoPLANT Modeler Applications
2.Before making any changes make sure to take a backup of the Project.
3.Go to following location C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\Plant V8i\Modules\Base\common
4. Open Pipedata.ebs file
5.Search for ‘Write component piping information to the external database’ section.
6.Add following line
status = at_Component_getString (lineNumber, compID, "lineNumber")
status = at_DbExt_put (lineNumber, AT_DB_TABLE_PIPING, AT_CURRENT_DOCUMENT, compID, "LINE")
7.Save the file.
8.Now go to project location and open Projdata.mdb file.
9.Add new Field Name LINE in PIPING table.
10.Save the Projdata, mdb
11.Now open Document Manager and create new drawing, place any component and will get LineNumber property for that component in drawing database.
