In OpenPlant Modeler CONNECT Edition, the requirement is to make any property read-only or editable in the class using OpenPlant Project Administrator CONNECT Edition.

Background

In OpenPlant Project Administrator CE, a new tool has been introduced for making any desired Property editable/ read-only via OpenPlant Project Administrator CE. This Wiki shows the procedure for the same with two Cases.

         >> Making short description property read-only.
         >> Making SpecID property editable.

Steps to Accomplish

1. Launch OpenPlant Project Administrator CONNECT Edition.
   
   
   
   
2. Select the desired Workset & from settings Tab, open property display as shown
   
   
   
   
3. From search option, search for a Pipe class as shown
   
   
   
   
4. Search for short description property & make it read-only as shown
   
   
   
   
5. Search for SpecID property & make it Editable as shown
   
   
   
   
6. Save the changed fields as shown
   
   
   
   
7. To check the results, relaunch OpenPlant Modeler CONNECT Edition.
   
   
8. The property display is changed as shown
