In OpenPlant Modeler CONNECT Edition, the requirement is to move any property to another category using OpenPlant Project Administrator CONNECT Edition.

Background

In OpenPlant Project Administrator CE, a new tool has been introduced to move any property to another category via OpenPlant Project Administrator CE. This Wiki shows the procedure for the same. with two Cases.
For example, let’s move the length property of the pipe to another category. By default, it is located to operating condition as shown

Steps to Accomplish

1. Launch OpenPlant Project Administrator CONNECT Edition.
   
   
   
   
2. Select the desired Workset & from settings Tab, open property displays as shown
   
   
   
   
3. From search option, search for a Pipe class as shown
   
   
   
   
4. Search for Length property & click on move properties as shown
   
   
   
   
5. Select new category & Hit ok as shown below
   
   
   
   
6. Hit on save. Notice that property is moved to another category as shown
   
   
   
   
7. To verify the results, relaunch the OpenPlant Modeler & open the pipe properties as shown
   
   
   
   Notice that Length property is moved to the General Info category.
