In AutoPLANT Modeler user assign the spool ID to the pipe for splitting the isometrics into multiple sheets during isometric generation process.
User can either set Spool ID in the AutoPLANT Modeler or defined the Spool setting in the OpenPlant Isometrics Manager.
This wiki article explains the steps on how to create Spool Isometrics using Spool Settings in OpenPlant Isometrics Manager.
1.Click on Bentley Plant CONNECT icon present on the desktop.
2.Launch the Project Administrator
3.Launch Isometric Configuration
4.In Isometric configuration, click on Spool Settings option
The Spool settings determine how the isometrics will be broken into using Spool Settings as well as where the loose Pipe and fittings will display in the BOM.
Treat Sheet breaks as Spool Break: This is to prevent spools from continuing over sheets
Ignore Spool breaks from Design System: In AutoPLANT Modeler there is an option to place a spool break note. Click this option to ignore these.
Force Loose Pipes to Field: A loose pipe is a pipe that is marked as shop in AutoPLANT Modeler but has no connections to other shop items. These fittings can be forced to be field components.
Force Loose Fittings to Field: A loose fitting is a fitting that is marked as shop in AutoPLANT Modeler but has no connections to other shop items. These fittings can be forced to be field components.
