Problem with graphics display in AutoPLANT i-Model Composer and other OpenPlant product might be an issue with display drivers and below step will aid user to fix this issue.
While working on AutoPLANT i-Model Composer, user experienced graphics distortion while opening any DGN file. See some examples below.
Also it can be experienced with other OpenPlant products. This might happens while upgrading the NVIDIA/Others Display graphics card. By setting the variable explain below will force the software to use the same
version. User might get the similar issue while opening the DGN file in MicroStation.
1.Launch AutoPLANT i-Model Composer, select Project
2.Go to menu Workspace > Configuration. See Image below
3.In "Configuration" dialog box, Click on "New" button shown at the right hand side part of it.
4.‘New Configuration Variable’ dialog box opens.
5.In the top field under Variable option Type - QV_D3DVERSION.
6.In the New Value box, enter: 9
7.Click OK and OK again in Configuration dialog (accept the saved changes).
8.Close and restart AutoPLANT i-Model Composer. It will generate correct graphics.
