Background

While working with AutoPLANT Modeler, user wants to show additional Pipe Spec information in Connecting Label in the isometric Drawing. In order to make this work user has added SPECIFICATION Property to the expression.

Problem Description

The Pipe Spec information does not appear in the isometric drawing due to the incorrect SPECIFICATION property defined in the AutoPLANT Mapping.

 To make this work   SPECIFICATION property should be defined as "NSPEC " in AutoPLANT Mapping.

 This wiki articles explains the steps on how to add spec information for Equipment Nozzle in isometric continuation.

Steps to Resolve

1.Launch the Bentley Class Editor and Open the OpenPlant_3D schema

2.Right click on OpenPlant_3D and select Supplement schema as shown below.

3.Click on Add  to specify supplemental schemas,  refer below snapshot.

4.Select the supplementary schemas & click on Open. Refer below snapshot

5.Click on Ok to proceed, OpenPlant_3D is supplemented successfully as shown in below snapshot.

6.Go to Nozzle Class

7.Go to “Properties” tab and select SPECIFICATION Property

8.Check the AutoPLANT 3D Mapping schema and change the Specification Property as NSPEC instead of SPECIFICATION.

9.Defined the continuation expression as shown in below snapshot.

10.Generate the isometric drawing and Spec information will show in isometric drawing. Refer below snapshot.
