In OpenPlant Modeler CONNECT Edition, the requirement is to modify the dimensions of the leader line in isometric via OPIM CE.

Background

Sometimes, in projects due to heavy or messy tagging in isometric, there is a need to increase the length & gap between the leader line & component. In OpenPlant IM CE, a new tool has been introduced to change the dimensions of the leader line. By default, the length & gap for the leader line is shown below

Steps to Accomplish

1. Launch OpenPlant Modeler CONNECT Edition.
   
   
   
   
2. Select the desired workspace & workset from the interface, Place a pipe & flange arrangement with the blind flange at the end as shown
   
   
   
   
3. From pipeline manager, select pipeline, choose the required isometric style (here CHECK) & auto-generate the iso-sheet as shown
   
   
   
   
4. Again, select pipeline & generate iso as shown
   
   
   
   
5. Once done, the OpenPlant Isometric Manager interface will open. Launch style editor as shown
   
   
   
   
6. Select the style as a check, move to leader settings & change the dimensions as shown & save.
   
   
   
   
   
7. Click on start. Once done, do right-click & select show isometric as shown
   
   
   
   
8. Once the isometric is opened, verify the results as below
   
   
   As shown, the terminator for the leader line is disabled now.
