How to insert spaces between isometric PARTID labels.

Backgound

Since the PARTID labels are closely placed, the user has issues with the readability of the isometric output. Hence, the user wants that these PARTID labels should be placed at a distance from each other so that they seem distinct and become readable.

Steps to Accomplish

  1. Launch OpenPlant Isometrics Manager v8i.

  2. In the Isometric Configuration dialog, confirm the cell being used for PARTID labels.

  3. From the Advanced tab open the seed file.

  4. From the IsoExtractor menu click on Cell Creation Tool.

  5. Navigate to the annotation.dgn cell and click on Open.

  6. On the NOTE_CIRCLE cell symbol place a fence.

  7. Click on Create cell tool.

  8. Give the name of the cell as PARTID in the custom.cel library.

  9. In the Element menu attach custom cell library and open the PARTID cell.

  10. By default Active Element Class is not enabled. You can right click on Active Level, Active Color or other functions and enable Active Element Class

  11. In the cell, change the active element class to Construction.

  12. Select the place smartline command and draw a line as shown in the image below.

  13. In the View Attributes disable Constructions.

  14. Save file settings (Ctrl+B) and close the file.
  15. Regenerate the isometrics. Now the generated isometrics will contain the PARTID labels with a gap.
