    How to Remove Flow Arrow Annotation in OpenPlant Isometrics Manager CE

    Background

    When using OpenPlant Isometrics Manager with AutoPLANT Modeler, it will show Flow Arrow symbol in the isometrics like below.

    This can be easily removed if it is not required, by using the User Labels from the Isometrics configuration setting. By default the Flow Arrow’s have description i.e. Flow Arrow. To see this double click or perform edit component on a Flow Arrow inside the AutoPLANT model as below.

    Steps to Resolve

    1.Click on Bentley Plant CONNECT Edition icon present on the desktop

    2.Launch Project Administrator

    3.Navigate to the Project, expand the OpenPlant Isometrics Manager and click on Isometrics Styles

    4.Select the working Isometric Style and click on User Labels as shown in below snapshot.

    5.In Note Labels, add EC_CLASS=FLOW_ARROW variable in the Exclude section as shown in the below snapshot.

    6.Similarly, In Variable Shape Note Label add EC_CLASS=FLOW_ARROW variable in the Exclude section as shown in the below snapshot.

    7.Save settings and generate the isometrics to review the results

    8.Notice that there is no any text mentioned for Flow Arrow in generated isometric.
