How to Create Search Criteria to Include Properties from Fluid Port in OpenPlant Modeler Connect

In OpenPlant Modeler, requirement is to create search criteria for slip on flange that include properties from fluid port level.

Background

In OpenPlant Modeler, from item browser user can define multiple level of properties to include in search output. Below wiki article explain the walk through to achieve such requirement

Steps to Accomplish

  1. From OpenPlant Modeler interface, launch Explorer
    .
  2. Click on Search icon as shown below.



  3. To Advanced Search window, search for desired component class name here Slip on Flange as shown in below image



  4. To add more filter criteria, click on Where & select Related item is… Refer image below



  5. Select desired relationship, here Piping Component has Port as shown below



  6.  Click on where as shown below.



  7.   From Create Where Clause window, select Fluid Port class & select desired property here Facing. Also define desired facing value like RAISED_FACE
  8.   Once filter has been defined, click on Add to Search & select OK. Refer sequential steps as shown below



  9. Click on OK. Refer image below



  10.   This will pop warning message regarding defined search criteria. Click on Yes.

     
         
  11. Notice that item browser shows result output as shown below.
