To configure OpenPlant Modeler managed environment to point last used reference ProjectWise folder path.

Background

In OpenPlant Modeler CONNECT Edition managed environment, while applying attach reference OpenPlant Modeler point to Workfile folders. Application doesn’t remember the last used path of ProjectWise folder location, refer image as shown below.

In this wiki article, we will explore the changes that are required to achieve desired result.

Steps to Accomplish

1. Load ProjectWise Client.
2. Login to desired datasource and expand managed configuration folder for OpenPlant Modeler.
3. Open OpenPlant.cfg file in notepad editor. Refer image as shown below.
   
   
   
   
4. Search for MS_DEF variable and comment both the variables as shown below.
   
   
   
   
5. Save all the changes and check-in.
6. Navigate inside Modeler folder and load Modeler.cfg in notepad.
   
   
   
   
7. Comment both the variables of MS_DEF and lock as shown below.
   
   
   
   
8. Save the changes and check-in.
9. Load a model file and attach reference from desired ProjectWise folder.
   
   
   
   
10. Verify upon evoking Attach Reference tool again. Notice that application remembers the last used reference location now.
