Overview

This wiki will be helpful in case when existing fittings part-IDs are to be excluded.

Steps to Accomplish

1. Open Bentley Class Editor CONNECT Edition.

2. Open OpenPlant 3D schema and Supplement it with Modeling, Modeling Views and IsoExtractor schemas.

3. Go to “Plant Base Object” Class.

4. Edit the following in “Default Bill of Material Labels” custom attribute.

Copy from here: llf(IM.Match(this.STATE."EXISTING"."FOR_DEMOLITION"."").1.0)

 This will help you resolve not one but two issues: Excluding Existing components from OPIM BOM and resetting Part IDs thereafter.
