How to create display rules for specified class in PlantSight Visualizer

In this wiki article, we will explore How to create display rules for specified class in PlantSight Visualizer.

To use the visualizer portal, we need to have PlantSight registered project.
WorkSet must be associated and Setup with a PlantSight project.
Ensure that desired applications are enabled for workset like OpenPlant Modeler and OpenPlant PID."

Note:Provision tool has rebranded as Setup in OpenPlant Update 9. Refer image as shown below.

Load OpenPlant Project Administrator.
Select an associated workset and from the Project Portalsribbon group and select PlantSight. Refer to the image below.
Enter login credentials if prompted.
Once logged in successfully, notice the in left-hand pane, visualizer service is enlisting as shown in below
Click on Visualize and navigate 3D models. Select the imodel and click on enter imodel as shown below.
In the imodel, click on the Data Visualization as shown below
Click on add icon to create a display rule. Refer below image
In Edit Data Visualization add name as Test. Click on the drop-down list, chose Equipment as a class and Description as property. Click on Generate as shown below image
After generating the label, specify the color as per your project requirement and click on save. Refer below image
Go back to Data Visualization and click on the Test display rule. Refer below image

In the PlantSight, it is showing the same color as mention in the display settings.
