Enhanced Pre-Check Auto Routing Entry Points performance for large projects.
The processing time has been substantially reduced to a few seconds for a large number of equipment when using the Pre-Check Auto Routing Entry Points tool, resulting in fast opening and closing of the dialog box.
Performance improvement while working with dataset on shared network drives.
The local caching of network shared datasets is no longer automatically refreshed within the current session of the software resulting in faster performance.
New 3D cable creation options.
During the design phase it can be useful to view the 3D cables in the model to validate the routing and design, but you may not need the realistic rendering during the initial design and checking phases of the project. Now you can choose between the following options to display the cables in the 3D model with the first having the most realistic and largest footprint and the last the smallest. These alternative options can be generated faster saving you time in design reviews.
Improved performance of different raceway, equipment and cable related tools with Explorer open in background.
A configuration variable named, "BRCM_ENABLE_EC_PROVIDER" was introduced, which we can be set in each WorkSpace to '0' by default to disable the EC Provider that populates the list of cables in the Explorer by querying the SQL database. By omitting cables from the Explorer tree performance will be greatly improved when designing with the Explorer dialog open. If you require cable data in the Explorer tree you can re-enable the provider. by entering a value of "1."
Faster closing of design files.
We increased the speed of closing design files by saving the default configurations as JSON instead of INI files.
Reworded "Updating View" to "Updating Results" and improved the performance.
The wording used in the Routing Progress Dialog was changed from 'Updating View' to 'Updating Results' and the performance was improved to reduce the time taken to update the results.
