    How to include custom schema in OpenPlant PID under component manager

    Background

    Component Manager includes PID schema only. Now the requirement is to add custom schema in OpenPlant PID under component manager. Follow the below wiki to meet the requirement.



    Steps To Accomplish

    1. Go to PID configuration - pid.cfg in following below mentioned location.

      C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\OpenPlantPID (SS10)\OpenPlantPID\config\appl



    2. Right Click the pid.cfg and Edit with Notepad++.



    3. Enter the desired custom schema name. Refer image below.

      BMF_COMPONENT_MANAGER_SCHEMAS < {desired custom schema name}



    4. Save all the changes and load OpenPlant PID.



    5. Go to Component Manager and notice that custom schema gets enlisted as shown below.
