OPPID - Project Locations and Definitions

    OpenPlant Power P&ID  Projects Definition

This configuration is for Ss3, Ss4, and Ss5.  This is showing the Ss5 paths.  Substitute PowerPID (SELECTseries 3)\ for PowerPID (SELECTseries 5)\ for Ss3.   Substitute PowerPID (SELECTseries 4)\ for PowerPID (SELECTseries 5)\ for Ss4.

There are two types of Projects: Workspace and Database. This explains the differences.

    • Workspace

    C:\ProgramData\Bentley\PowerPID (SELECTseries 5)\WorkSpace\Projects

    • Dgn Storage
    • Cells
    • DGNLIB (menu, element template)
    • schema
    • specs
    • seed files (units)
    • pid.cfg

    • Database repository (storage)

The Workspace is required here as well but that the Database Repository is an added feature when using the Bentley Plant framework.

    OpenPlant Power P&ID  Schema locations

This configuration is for Ss3, Ss4, and Ss5.  This is showing the Ss5 paths.  Substitute PowerPID (SELECTseries 3)\ for PowerPID (SELECTseries 5)\ for Ss3.   Substitute PowerPID (SELECTseries 4)\ for PowerPID (SELECTseries 5)\ for Ss4.  Note for Ss3 and Ss4, the schem file versions will be smaller, ex. Ss4 has bmf.01.02.ecschema.xml.

    • OpenPlant.01.03.ecschema.xml
    • OpenPlant_Supplemental_ISO15926.01.03.ecschema.xml
      • Using class editor this schema contains assigned Part 7 templates to OPPID classes and properties.  This will allow your PID data to be exported out into OWL or iRING Sandbox in ISO 15926-8 format.
    • Part2.01.00.ecschema.xml

        • OpenPlant_PID.01.03.ecschema.xml
          • OpenPlant_PID_Supplemental_Imperial.01.03.ecschema.xml
            • This schema addresses how OPPID classes get:  drawn, annotated, what element template they use, custom value descriptions and lists (Drop down for border list, nozzle list, mapped to spec's), manipulated on drawing.
          • OpenPlant_Supplemental_Tagging.01.02.ecschema.xml
            • This schema contains OPPID class tagging structure
          • OpenPlant_Supplemental_Mapping_OPPID.01.03.ecschema.xml
          • OpenPlant_Supplemental_Units_Metric.01.03.ecschema.xml
            • This schema holds the metric untis for OPPID classes for displaying in OPPID application and for exposing in ISO 15926-8.
        • OpenPlant_ProjectProperties.01.02.ecschema.xml
          • This schema is for adding additional properties to classes in your workspace.  This is a schema provided by Bentley to help clients isolate property changes made in OPPID classes.

        • PlantProjectSchema.01.03.ecschema.xml
        • PlantProjectSchema.01.03_Autoplant_PIW.01.03.mapping.xml
          • This schema is used to allow OPPID to read and write from the plant project database, and also to allow Plant Project Database information to be mapped to the OP classes and properties and also the RDL (Reference Data Library classes).
        • PSPid_ansi_Conversion.01.02.ecschema
          • This schema is used to map PlantSpace PID classes to OpenPlant PowerPID classes for conversion.  This allows PlantSpace drawings with associated jsm's to be upgraded and used by OPPID application.
        • Axsys_Conversion.01.01.ecschema
          • This schema is used to allow AXSYS.Process Preliminary PID's to be used for the detail design phase in OPPID
        • AutoPLANT_PID_Conversion.01.01.ecschema
          • This schema is used to map AutoPLANT PID classes to OpenPlant PowerPID classes.  This allows AutoPLANT drawings to be upgraded and used by the OPPID application.  This is only for OPPID Ss5 and later.
