Background

Sometimes user wants to generate the report in an Excel file from a specification generator for various specifications.

This article explains how to generate the report for specifications in an Excel file using Specification Generator.

Steps To Accomplish

1. Launch OpenPlant Specification Generator
   
   
2. Select desire project/Workset
   
   
3. Open required spec (mExample.mdb)
   
   
4. Go to Tools Tab > Select Reports
   
    

5. A window will launch Edit Report by default, there are 4 report files select anyone or create a new report.
   
    

6. Go to Print Preview > Export To > select desire file type > save the file to the required location.
   
   

7. We can see generated specification to excel format.
