Background

In OpenPlant Isometrics Manager CONNECT Edition, when launched from desktop, it reads the default configuration from out of the box. Refer the attached image below

By adding the argument it can be pointed to shared/network drive configuration. The below wiki article explain how to do so.

Steps to Accomplish

1. Right-click on the desktop OPIM CE icon & go to properties.
   
   
   
   
2. From shortcuts > Edit the Target path as shown
   
   
   
   
3. Currently, the path is already set as shown
   
   "C:\Program Files\Bentley\OpenPlant CONNECT Edition\IsometricsManager\Bentley.Isometrics.App.exe"
   
   
4. Add the further argument in continuation with the same path of your network drive.
   
   
5. For e.g, we have configuration of network drive as shown
   
   
6. To add this path in the previous argument (shown in step-2), please paste the target location as shown
   
   "C:\Program Files\Bentley\OpenPlant CONNECT Edition\IsometricsManager\Bentley.Isometrics.App.exe" "-wr Y:\Shubham\Configuration\Configuration"
   
   Note: One can add their own network path. Refer the format below
   
   "C:\Program Files\Bentley\OpenPlant CONNECT Edition\IsometricsManager\Bentley.Isometrics.App.exe" "-wr<space><paste your network drive path>"
   
   
7. Once done, Click Apply > Ok & confirm the results as shown
   
   
   
   Notice that, network configuration is now being added as a default path.
