Background

Requirement is to move Application Db folder from Workset level to Organization level. In this article, we will explore the required changes to meet this requirement.

Steps to Accomplish

1. Navigation to desired workset location and go to the OpenPlant folder level. Refer image as shown below. Select ApplicationDb folder and move this folder from workset level.
   
   
   
   
2. Paste this ApplicationDb folder to higher level. In this example pasted it to Organization level.
   
   
   
   
3. Go to Workset level again and Load Modeler.cfg file in notepad or notepad++ to modify it.
   
   
   
   

4. Search for BESM_TOOLCABINETROOT and change location as mentioned below.
   
   BESM_TOOLCABINETROOT = $(_USTN_CONFIGURATION)Organization/ApplicationDb/
   
   
   
   

5. Save all the changes. Reload OpenPlant Modeler to verify the result.
   
   
   
   
6. Search Configuration Variable in search ribbon. Then from Configuration variable, Go to BESM_TOOLCABINETROOT variable. cross-check the modified variable value.
