How to set the Conduits insertion point at Center

Product(s): Bentley Raceway & Cable Management
      Version(s): CONNECT Edition (10.10.00.xx)
      Environment: N/A
      Area: N/A

      Original Author: Aadarsh Tale

    Background

Insertion point for conduits by default set to the lower left conduit of the grid. In Bentley Raceway and Cable Management CONNECT Edition Update 10, user has the option to set the insertion point at the center by using the new Align Center setting. You can follow the steps of this WIKI article to align the insertion point to the center while placing conduits.

    Steps to Accomplish

    1. Open Raceway Router from Raceway ribbon tab.

    2. Select System as Conduits and setup a 4x4 or 2x2 grid.

Note: The offset Z value is taken automatically and if you route conduits with these setting, it will take the insertion point at lower left conduit’s center.

    3. Click on Raceway configuration and select Setup grid.

    4. Check the Align center to activate the settings.

    5. The Offset Z value will get set to align the insertion point at center.
