    Overview

On rare occasions, the uninstall process available for the AutoPLANT suite can become somehow corrupted, preventing it from properly removing the associated files, binaries, and registry entries.  On these rare occasions, it can become necessary to manually uninstall the AutoPLANT product.  The steps below detail this process

**It should be noted that only qualified personnel with experience in registry edits should perform the steps below**

    Steps to Follow

1.Kill the BPCOM32 process from the task manager and uninstall the the "iModel connector for AutoPLANT" otherwise it will not allow the uninstall of AutoPlant.

2.Go to Control Panel and uninstall the AutoPLANT Modeler CONNECT Update 2

3.Before deleting the following folders make sure your projects are saved and backed up somewhere safe.

4.Delete the Plant V8i folder from the below application directory.

    C:\ProgramData\Bentley

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley

5.After uninstalling the AutoPLANT Modeler CE, it is recommended to check the registry entries for Plant V8i folder.

6.Delete plant V8i folder from registry editor

    Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Bentley\Plant V8i

    Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Bentley\Plant V8i

7.Delete all the shortcuts for AutoPLANT

    8.Restart the Machine
