Overview

To Resolve selecting Half Coupling also displays Full Coupling in OPM.

Problem Description

In OPM, when a user selects a Half Coupling, the Full Coupling also appears in the selection dropdown.

Steps to Resolve

1. Launch Bentley Class Editor, open OpenPlant_3D.01.08.ecschema.xml and supplement OpenPlant_3D_Supplemental_Modeling.01.08.ecschema.xml
   
   
2. Search Half Pipe Coupling and notice that the Placeable child class is inherited by the parent class Pipe Coupling, which has EC_CLASS_NAME as PIPE_COUPLING, causing Half Coupling to display Full Coupling in the selection.
   
   
   
   
3. Copy the Custom Attributes OpenPlant_Physical_Placeable_Child_Classes[PIPE_COUPLING] of Pipe Coupling. As Shown in the below image.
   
   
   
   
   
4. Right-click on Half Pipe Coupling, Select Custom Attribute and click on Paste.
   
   
   
   
5. Modify OpenPlant_Physical_Placeable_Child_Classes by modifying EC_CLASS_NAME[0] as HALF_PIPE_COUPLING and removing EC_CLASS_NAME[1]. As shown in below image.
   
   
   
   
6. Save all changes and relaunch OPM to verify the resolution.
