Background

If user need to change the order of the columns from where they can select the specific entries for any component which are spec based defined for query in standard preference it can be possible only when we have defined it on the schemas. This article will explain how and where the order of the properties can be set. 

Below is the image example for which the spec grid position to be change.

Steps to Accomplish

1. In OPPA, adjust the position for properties, see default position settings below.
   
   
   
   
2. Now assign the position to desired one, say for Description, assign 2
   
   
   
   
3. For Nominal Diameter, initially it was in Position 2, here we have set it to 3. See changed position in OPPA.
   
   
   
   
4. Save OPPA.
   
   
5. Additionally, delete the prefs, ‘Roaming’ folder to append the new configuration changes. See default path below.
   
   
   
   
6. Delete the project from above path.
   
   
7. Re-open OpenPlant Modeler and verify results. See image below.
