Background

The Drawing Template for the OpenPlant Support Engineering, the available View Types by default is only System, Fron, Left, and Iso. The user wants to add a Top View when a drawing is generated.

Steps to Accomplish

1. Open the OPSEMetric.db in DB Browser in SQlite. This file can be found in C:\ProgramData\Bentley\OpenPlant CONNECT Edition\Configuration\WorkSpaces\%WorkspaceName%\WorkSets\%WorksetName%\Standards\OpenPlant\ApplicationDb\

2. Go to the Browse Data tab and set the Table value to refLookupList. Duplicate record in one of the items.

3. Enter the values then Save All.

4. To check, open the OPSE_DrawingProduction.dgn in OPSE/OPM. This is located in C:\ProgramData\Bentley\OpenPlant CONNECT Edition\Configuration\WorkSpaces\%WorkspaceName%\WorkSets\%WorksetName%\Standards\OpenPlant\Seed\Others\

5. In the Drawing Production Ribbon, select Area tool and select a Drawing Area in the Template to launch the Drawing Area dialog. Expand the View Type dropdown and observe the Top as added.
