How To Create New Pipelines For Multiple Segments

Background

There can be more than one segment under one pipeline if the model is imported from another tool. This may result in various issues. In this scenario you can create new Pipelines for multiple segments and updates the ECExpression of related components.

Steps to Accomplish

  1. Open the dgn containing more than one segment in the pipeline. If the components are in PlantSight, connect to it and check out all the pipelines with more than one segment. For example,
  2. Click key-in option in the Primary group and type mechaddin CreateNewPipelinesForMultiSegments in the key-in dialog.


  3. Press <Enter> to run the key-in.
  4. Click the Refresh on the top of the explorer.
    New pipelines are created. For example,


Note: The new pipelines are created based on the following conditions :

Read-only / referenced out pipelines are not processed. A log file is generated for such pipelines typically at "C:\Users<UserName>\AppData\Local\Bentley\Logs\OpenPlantModeler.log"
