Background

There can be more than one segment under one pipeline if the model is imported from another tool. This may result in various issues. In this scenario you can create new Pipelines for multiple segments and updates the ECExpression of related components. Also, you can merge the components into one segment.

Steps to Accomplish

  1. Open the dgn containing more than one segment in the pipeline. If the components are in PlantSight, connect to it and check out all the pipelines with more than one segment. For example,

  2. Click key-in option in the Primary group and type mechaddin mergesegments in the key-in dialog


  3. Press <Enter> to run the key-in.
  4. Click the Refresh on the top of the explorer.
    Explore shows only one segment in each pipeline and all the components are present. The message center shows the numbers of pipelines fixed. For example,


Note: Read-only / referenced out pipelines are not processed.
