Background
Define configuration variable OPM_PREFER_MEGALUG =1 to enable MegaLug joints.
The Series 2100 MEGAFLANGE Restrained Flange Adapter is a field-adaptable wedge style restrained flanging system. It has a restraint ring and a gasket ring which gives you the maximum amount of flexibility during and after installation.
A typical MEGAFLANGE Adapter is drawn in OpenPlant Modeler according to the following mapping of the properties in the Catalog\Spec mdb file.
To place Mega lug flange using auto-fitting , follow these steps:
Steps to Accomplish
- Place a pipe of desired length.
- Select the Flange option from the Piping Galleries.
In the Component Center, the list of available flanges appears. -
Select the Weldneck flange and continue to place it from the end of the pipe.
The flange adapter gets placed automatically.
