Background
Picking up the components has many uses. It can be use for moving, deleting, selecting and, etc. Rectangular shape is the preferred appearance of selecting a component. However, the default selecting option in AutoPLANT Modeler is Lasso selection. It looks like an irregular shape and difficult to use.
Steps to Accomplish
1. Type/run the command OPTION or OP.
2. In Options dialogue box, proceed to Selection tab. Uncheck “Allow press and drag for Lasso”.
3. Click Apply and OK.
4. Verify the result by dragging the pointer on the screen.
