Background

Piping Spec is an important document consists of specification of pipes and components for design project. In addition, Piping Spec has a big contribution to test user’s model consistently. Follow the steps below to be able to find the Piping Spec in a project in AutoPLANT Modeler.

Steps to Accomplish

1. Launch Bentley Plant CONNECT Edition. 

2. Upon opening, select Project Tools.


3. Choose Project Administrator in Project Tools folder. 

4. Expand the Root where the working Project is located (For example, SAMPLE_IMPERIAL). Select Main under System.

5. Observe the Master Specs Folder. This is the folder location of Piping Spec.
Note: Not all the time Piping Spec can be found in C Drive. Sometimes it is saved somewhere else.

6. Follow the folder location to see the required Piping Spec to work on.
