Background

OpenPlant Isometrics Manager users have a requirement in showing Shop, Field, and other weld information in Weld Report. Those details must be assigned in the model and will be visible in the seed file/template. This wiki article is applicable for OpenPlant Modeler and AutoPLANT Modeler.

Steps to Accomplish

1. Launch OpenPlant Modeler and open a piping model.
   Note: Change View Display Style to Wireframe to make the weld symbol visible.
   
2. Select the weld symbol, right click on it and choose Modify Component.
   
3. Select the weld type (Example: Field).
   
4. Generate isometrics. In Isometrics Configuration box, select Launch Style Editor.
   
5. Select the required isometric style and click on Reports.
   
6. Add the value COLUMN = 10::TYPE
   
7. Generate isometrics again to verify the result.
