Background

The purpose of this document is to provide instructions on how to change the item description of the OPSE component

Steps to Accomplish

  1. Launch DB Browser.
  2. Open the workset's OPSE database which is located in %workset_standard%\OpenPlant\ApplicationDb
  3. Select “Browse Data” tab and under Table dropdown “refSuppDescript”.
  4. Modify the item description by going to the Description column of a row entry
  5. Go to files and click on Save all.
  6. Relaunch OPSE and put a new support to verify the changes.

Note: The modification is only doable for new supports but not for already placed supports.
