Overview

When placing a Control Air Valve into a pipe, the flange is not automatically generated unlike other valves such as Gate Valve and Butterfly Valve. The steps mentioned below details how to modify the schema to allow such behavior.

Steps to Accomplish

1. Launch Class Editor

2. Open OpenPlant_3D.01.08 schema and supplement with OpenPlant_3D_Supplemental_Modeling.01.08.ecschema.xml. (See (+) How to Open Schema & Supplement it with desired Schema in Bentley Class Editor CONNECT Edition. - OpenPlant | AutoPLANT Wiki - OpenPlant | AutoPLANT - Bentley Communities for detailed instructions)

3. Find AIR_RELEASE_VALVE_DOUBLE_ACTING Class

4. Under Creation Attribute, change the following variables:

5. Save all schemas

6. Launch OpenPlant Modeler and test.
