Background

When making updates to the 2D Model Property, like altering the Description and syncing it with the 3D model, an error might appear stating,

                                                       "Property listed in the ProhibitPropertyUpdate'' List.

To fix this out, follow the steps mentioned below.

Steps to Accomplish

  1. Go to the Mapping Storage. Json file which is present in workset level.
    In this case we are pointing for Description Property Only.

    Navigate to the path: C:\ProgramData\Bentley\OpenPlant CONNECT Edition\Configuration\WorkSpaces\OpenPlantExample\WorkSets\Metric\Standards\OpenPlant\Mapping

  2. Open the json file and find the Consistency Property called ProhibitProperty and comment out the Description Property as shown below.

  3. Next step is to open Modeler.cfg file which is also present in the workset level.

    Navigate path: C:\ProgramData\Bentley\OpenPlant CONNECT Edition\Configuration\WorkSpaces\OpenPlantExample\WorkSets\Metric\Standards\OpenPlant\Modeler

  4. Open Modeler.cfg and uncommented the variable mentioned in below image.

    OPM_CM_IGNORE_OP3D_CATALOGUE_ATTRIBUTE_PROPERTIES = 1

  5. Open the Consistency Manager in OPM and check the stage all which allows the description to be checked and fetched in 3D Model.

Note: The Above steps are not valid for Associated Property (WBS items).
