How to Setup Work Environment with OPPID, OPM & Plantsight

Background

This wiki will help us to understand how we can setup OPPID, OPM & Plantsight in connected environment so that we can push and pull information from one product to other.  

Prerequisite-

Install -          OpenPlantProject Administrator

                        OpenPlant PID

                        OpenPlant Modeler

Access to-     Plantsight

 

Steps to Accomplish

  1. Start Open Plant Project Administrator à Connect Services Tab àPlantsight à Register a facility à Register a Project à Create a iModel







  2. Again go to Go Open Plant Project Administrator à Connect Services tab & In Configuration tab, OpenPlant Connect Edition\ Configuration\ à Workspace (in my case OpenPlant Example) à Workset (In my case Metric) & Click on Associate & select Project to be associated with Workset
  3. Click on Setup button and select iModel & establish connection between workset and iModel



  4. Check if correctly connected in Open Plant Project Administrator(OPPA)




    1. Now in this case Workflow of Information can be in two formats

    Case 1

                   In this case Information is first Created in EDM and then pushed to OPM & OPPID, if some changes are made in OPPID it can be synced to EDM.

    Case 2

    In this case Information is generated in OPPID and then pushed to EDM and OPM.
